The Rental Agent will greet customers, discuss project needs, and recommend appropriate camera and production equipment. Daily tasks include creating and managing rental agreements, assisting in checking equipment in and out, inspecting gear for damage, and ensuring all items are clean, functional, and ready for use. The role involves answering phone and email inquiries, providing clear information on pricing and availability, and maintaining accurate records in the rental management system. The Rental Agent will collaborate with team members to organize inventory, restock accessories, support basic troubleshooting, and help deliver a consistent, positive rental experience.Qualifications • Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to support a positive, responsive experience for every client. • Rental Management and Car Rental or similar rental operations experience to handle contracts, inventory, and check-in/check-out processes. • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional interaction with diverse customers. • Basic knowledge or strong interest in cameras, lenses, lighting, and related production equipment. • Ability to stay organized, manage multiple rentals at once, and maintain accurate documentation. • Comfort with point-of-sale and rental management software; ability to learn new systems quickly. • Reliable time management and the ability to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed. • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or equipment rental is beneficial.
