About the role

We are supporting a company establishing a new complex manufacturing operation in the Denver region to produce sophisticated, technically advanced products as part of an exciting global technology manufacturing business, and are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager with a strong background in manufacturing to join us at an exciting stage of the company's development. This is a hands-on opportunity to become a key HR partner to the local leadership team and help put in place the people, processes, and culture needed as the business grows. You will also have the support of our established parent company and its HR organization, providing access to expertise, systems, policies, and resources.
The Role: You will have responsibility for the local HR agenda, including: Developing workforce and hiring plans as the operation grows. Recruiting engineers, manufacturing professionals, technicians, supervisors, and other key employees. Establishing effective HR processes, policies, and employee programs. Supporting managers with employee relations, performance, and organizational matters. Helping develop a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture. Providing insight into the local manufacturing labor market and talent availability. Working closely with the parent company's HR team and other functions to ensure the right support is in place.
About You: Manufacturing HR experience is essential for this role. We are looking for a practical, business-minded HR professional who has worked directly within a complex manufacturing environment and understands the people, skills, workforce, and operational challenges that come with running a manufacturing organization. You will ideally have experience across:
  • HR business partnering in a manufacturing operation
  • Recruiting engineering, manufacturing, technical, and skilled production talent
  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Workforce planning and organizational developmentHR policies, processes, and compliance
  • Supporting managers and operational leadership teams
Experience in a start-up, greenfield operation, new facility will be very helpful. This is an exceptional opportunity to get in at the start of something very unique and the position will also offer stock participation in the company.
