About the role

HWThree is partnered with a leading financial services firm seeking an AVP Audit Manager to join its Internal Audit function, focusing on Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury, and Capital Management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute risk-based audits across Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury, Capital Management, and related control functions
  • Manage audits through the full lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issue follow-upEvaluate the effectiveness of risk management, governance, and internal controls across liquidity and treasury activities
  • Support continuous monitoring by assessing emerging risks, regulatory developments, and changes across the liquidity risk environment
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and other Internal Audit teams on integrated audits and provide subject matter expertise
  • Track and validate remediation of audit findings and issues
  • Participate in regulatory reviews, special audits, investigations, and other ad hoc projects as required
Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience in Internal Audit, Risk, Treasury, Liquidity Risk, or a related function within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury, and Capital Management
  • Experience auditing liquidity risk frameworks, including liquidity measurement, monitoring, governance, and reporting
  • Understanding of banking regulations, supervisory expectations, and regulatory requirements related to liquidity and capital
  • Experience with Independent Liquidity Review, Independent Price Verification (IPV), or related control functions preferred
  • Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodologies and the full audit lifecycle
  • Excellent communication, analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred (CPA, CIA, CA, etc.)Our client offers a hybrid work schedule and competitive compensation and benefits package.
