They build relationships, earn customers' trust, communicate clearly, and know how to turn recommended repairs into approved work. At Motorcars International, we're looking for an experienced automotive service advisor who understands the business, takes pride in their work, and is motivated by performance. We're an established, independently owned European and import automotive repair facility in Smyrna, Georgia. We specialize in European vehicles while also servicing a variety of other imports. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the customer experience, confidently present repair recommendations, and help keep a busy service department running efficiently.
What We're Looking For: Previous automotive service advisor/service writer experience required. Strong sales and closing abilities. Ability to confidently present estimates and explain recommended repairs. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to build customer relationships and earn trust. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple repair orders. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with automotive shop management software. Tekmetric experience is a plus. Familiarity with European and import vehicles is preferred. Dependability, accountability, and a team-oriented attitude.
What You'll Be Doing: Greet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns. Manage repair orders from check-in through vehicle delivery. Present inspection findings, estimates, and recommended services. Confidently communicate repair recommendations and obtain approvals. Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process. Follow up on pending estimates and declined services. Coordinate with technicians and the service manager to keep repairs moving efficiently. Build lasting customer relationships through excellent service and follow-through. Contribute to the shop's sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals. Compensation & Opportunity This is a commission-only position with earnings directly tied to performance. We're looking for someone who is confident in their abilities, understands automotive service sales, and is motivated by the opportunity to earn based on results.
