About the role

Carter Lumber in Michigan is hiring for a truss fabrication position in our manufacturing facility. You will work with a team to build roof trusses from lumber and metal plates, following design specifications and startup checklists. Starting your day with equipment checks, you and the crew set up the building table framework, place lumber pieces, join them with plates, and run the roller to secure connections. A final quality check ensures accuracy before the next truss.
