Job Description: Job Description SEEKING A QUALIFIED HEAVY-DUTY DIESEL MECHANIC TO BE EMPLOYED AS A ROAD SERVICE TECH FOR A FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR SHOP. OUR SHOP SPECIALIZES IN DEDICATED FLEET MAINTENANCE, WITH A FOCUS ON THE CAR HAULING INDUSTRY. ABOVE & BEYOND FLEET MAINTENANCE, WE ARE TOOLED & EQUIPPED TO HANDLE ALL THE ASPECTS OF THE HEAVY-DUTY REPAIR INDUSTRY. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE IS ONLY SUPERSEDED BY A HARD WORK ETHIC & THE ENTHUSIASM TO STRIVE FOR QUALITY PERFORMANCE & PROFESSIONALISM. WE PAY COMPETITIVELY & AVERAGE 50 HOURS A WEEK WITH OVERTIME AFTER 40 HOURS. TECHNICIAN WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A DEDICATED SERVICE TRUCK THAT IS FULLY TOOLED & EQUIPPED FOR THE WORK REQUIRED.WILL PERFORM OFFSITE WORK & HANDLE ROAD SERVICE CALLS AS REQUIRED. WILL ALSO BE EXPECTED TO WORK ONSITE AS REQUIRED. MUST BE CAPABLE TO PROFESSIONALY PERFORM TASKS RELATED TO THE REPAIR & MAINTENANCE OF HEAVY-DUTY EQUIPMENT. THESE TASKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:o AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS / MAINTENANCEo DISC & SHOE BRAKE SYSTEM MAINTENANCEo TRANSMISSION & CLUTCH MAINTENANCE / REPLACEMENTo SUSPENSION COMPONENT MAINTENANCE / REPLACEMENTo TIRE & WHEEL MAINTENANCEo AIR CONDITIONING DIAGNOSTICS / MAINTENANCEo ELECTRICAL & LIGHTING DIAGNOSTICS / MAINTENANCE
