Title: Commercial Litigation Paralegal Location: Houston, Texas Type: Direct Hire Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 Summary: The Commercial Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys throughout all stages of complex commercial litigation, including case management, legal research, discovery, document preparation, and trial support. This role will manage case files and deadlines, coordinate e-discovery, assist with depositions and discovery responses, and prepare trial materials. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with legal research and e-discovery platforms are required.
Requirements: 7+ years of Commercial Litigation Paralegal Draft and manage pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and commercial contracts or agreements across state and federal courts. Maintain complex case files, track docket deadlines, and coordinate court communications using legal database systems. Conduct legal research regarding case law, statutes, and corporate regulations via platforms like Westlaw. Manage end-to-end e-discovery processes, including document collection, review for responsiveness, and application of redactions via platforms like Relativity, Logikcull, or Everlaw. Prepare and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission. Organize and summarize deposition transcripts, building comprehensive factual chronologies and medical/employment timelines. Assemble trial notebooks, witness binders, and master exhibit lists for high-stakes commercial litigation. Coordinate expert witnesses, corporate clients, and third-party vendors for depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
