About the role

-As a Manager of Sales, your role will be to develop partnerships and alliances with existing and new customer and distributor accounts within Briggs & Stratton's Turf & Consumer business unit. You will manage internal or external teams and develop strategic plans to achieve financial goals as well as manage overall account relationships.#LI-LB1 LI-Hybrid You Will Do This ByManaging accounts to meet strategic goals by making sales calls, Negotiating policies and implements them internally, ensuring effective communication Recommending product features and benefits to increase sales both internally to Product Management and externally to customers. Recommending sales promotions to the marketing department; developing and implementing product merchandising. Analyzing sales and market trends to formulate policy, promote sales, determine customer needs, volume potential and price schedules. Reporting sales activity to upper management. Performing full range of managerial responsibilities for sales representatives which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget; May oversee external vendor relationships in lieu of direct reports. Performing other duties as assigned.
