Pay Rate: $27.50 an hour
Sign On Bonus: $2,000 hire on bonus is for new hires and rehires that are returning after 5 years or more. The bonus will be paid out in equal $333/$334 portions after successfully completing 3 months, 6 months and 9 months of employment with Treasure Island Resort & Casino.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance of all plumbing fixture Perform plumbing duties and inspections Repair sinks, stools, faucets, drains, traps, sumps and filter systems Plan and develop recommendations for renovations and expansions Ensure adherence to Minnesota state codes Estimate costs for projects and expansions Responsible for inventory control and purchasing of plumbing equipment and supplies Knowledge And Certification, Skills and Abilities Required Knowledge and Certification: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience State of Minnesota Journeyman's license Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Preferred: Any certificates or license pertaining to this role such as Master Plumber
Required Skills: Accurate and detail-oriented Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Strong mechanical aptitude Required Abilities: Ability to work independently
Physical Demands: Must be able to walk and stand for periods of up to 8 hours Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects Must be able to climb ladders Must have the ability to independently lift minimum 25 pounds routinely Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions Must have good hand eye coordination Working Environment Work is performed throughout the entire property (inside and outdoors) and may include excessive noise, such as power tools, dust and fumes from paints, varnishes, stains and the like, flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
