You'll contribute to developing healthcare insurance software that identifies key data trends and insights, shaping the future of data‐driven decision‐making in healthcare. Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support ETL/ELT processes Design, build, and maintain big data solutions for analytics and reporting Optimize and automate data processing workflows Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards, including HIPAA and secure data transfers Implement data quality rules, automated testing frameworks, and validation processes to ensure data integrity Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Minimum Qualifications 5+ years' experience using SQL for ETL functions 5+ years' experience with Python, Scala, or Java 3+ years' experience with Apache Airflow and Apache Spark 2+ years' experience with Snowflake or Redshift 2+ years' experience with visualization and analytics tools Desired Skills Knowledge of processing Claims/EMR/EHR/Provider/Member datasets Experience with NodeJS, ReactJS Experience with data security concepts, including encryption, secure data transfers (TLS 1.2+ standards), and tokenization Experience implementing and managing data quality rules and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations) Experience working with various file formats such as Parquet, Avro, ORC, Delta, Iceberg, or Hudi Understanding of S3 data encryption standards for HIPAA data (AES 256+) Experience in data pipeline building and documentation Experience collaborating with clients' technical teams to ensure efficient data processing Data modeling techniques, including relational, dimensional (star and snowflake schemas), and NoSQL modeling Hands‐on experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms Demonstrated ability to load data independently, implement their own solutions, and consider cost‐effectiveness Familiarity with LLMs & MLOps Attitude and willingness to learn Ability to multi‐task, take initiative, and self‐manage duties and responsibilities Strong follow‐through skills, with a commitment to seeing tasks and projects to completion Benefits Generously sponsored Medical Insurance Fully paid premiums on dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Generous 401(k) matching program Flexible PTO policy HHS Technology Group's flagship product, Discover your Provider (DyP) is a provider relations/provider enrollment solution.
