Position SummaryThe Pricing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and governing pricing strategies across the product portfolio to support profitable growth and improve price realization. This role partners closely with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations, eCommerce, and Customer Service to ensure pricing consistency, strengthen margin performance, and drive pricing excellence across all channels. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with commercial business acumen to influence pricing decisions, manage pricing programs, and provide actionable insights that support strategic growth initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesPricing Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and manage pricing strategies across multiple product categories. Evaluate market trends, competitive activity, customer behavior, and demand patterns. Recommend list price adjustments, discount structure changes, and pricing improvements. Support annual price increases and strategic pricing initiatives. Customer Pricing & GovernanceReview customer-specific pricing requests, contracts, renewals, and competitive opportunities. Partner with Sales leadership to balance growth objectives and margin expectations. Ensure compliance with pricing policies, approval processes, and governance standards. Identify pricing leakage, discount inconsistencies, and process improvement opportunities. Analytics & InsightsConduct pricing, profitability, discount, and competitive analysis. Monitor price realization, margin performance, and customer segmentation trends. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track pricing effectiveness. Translate complex data into clear business recommendations for leadership. Systems & Business PartnershipSupport pricing technology initiatives, including ERP, pricing, and analytics platforms. Ensure pricing data integrity and process compliance across systems. Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations, IT, and Customer Service to drive pricing initiatives. Provide pricing guidance and training to commercial teams. QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Pricing, Revenue Management, Commercial Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline. Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Experience working with large datasets, ERP systems, and reporting tools. PreferredExperience with SAP, Vendavo, Power BI, or similar pricing and analytics platforms. Background in manufacturing, distribution, building products, construction, or industrial markets. Knowledge of pricing architecture, discount governance, segmentation, and profitability analysis. Experience supporting B2B eCommerce pricing strategies.
