About the role
Radiation Therapy Department Radiation Therapist Unit Notes Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract. The certification is ARRT(T) Radiation Therapist. Varian true beam experience would be preferred for this position. Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.
Job Duties:
- Administer Radiation to patients
- Perform CT Simulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Must Have Skills:
- Proficient in administering radiation therapy/CT/working with patients/good communication
- Average number of patients treated per day: 10EMR/Software: Mosaiq/Epic
- Department Specific Equipment: Varian True Beam/CT Scanner
Supervisor: Dana Welsh
Shifts: M-F 800-430 Weekend/Holiday No
