Our team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience that celebrates vibrant flavors of LA.The Momofuku Dishwasher will work to help the Back of House to execute smooth service through dish and equipment upkeep. We encourage our team members to grow and learn, and offer many opportunities for personal and career development.ResponsibilitiesWash all dishes and cooking equipment in a timely manner during and between restaurant servicesClean cooking stations and equipment to help expedite serviceFollow warning labels, directions, and food safety proceduresClean and maintain Front of House areas if requested by supervisorMaintain open and effective communication with Back of House team and Front of House teamUphold a high standard of cleanliness of any Back of House work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areasParticipate in deep cleaning of Back of House work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areasAssist in other Back of House areas as needed including but not limited to basic food preparationSupport other team members and foster a positive work environment Required QualificationsA positive and enthusiastic attitude, as well as a desire to learn, grow, and develop new skillsAbility to work in an environment with wet floors, extreme temperatures and loud noiseAbility to remain calm under pressureWilling to accept guidance in a positive manner and implement the direction in a way that is productive for both you and the teamAble to work in a standing/walking position for long periods of time Preferred Qualifications2+ years of experience in a Dishwasher, Porter, or similar role role at a moderate to high volume restaurantA proven track record of dependability and a continuous focus on learning and developmentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
