About the role

Seeking a Board-Certified Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an expanding cardiovascular program. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive heart failure care in inpatient and outpatient settings, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and representing the program in hospital committees. The role involves overseeing the LVAD program, collaborating on research, and contributing to educational activities, including training fellows, residents, and medical students. The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and foster effective communication and teamwork. Experience in mechanical circulatory support and ventricular assist devices is preferred, along with 3-5 years of heart failure expertise. The position requires maintaining current knowledge of heart failure trends, developing professional relationships, and supporting clinical research efforts. The role may include CCU coverage if desired.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed cardiologist from an accredited institution
  • Board certified in Heart Failure
  • Excellent communication skills with patients and staff
  • Knowledge of current heart failure practices and research
