About the role
Providing legal counsel to senior leaders and management teams, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Senior Counsel will support Lenovo's AI Ecosystem team by managing contract negotiations, offering legal guidance on business transactions, and collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
Understanding and advising on business models, legal risks, and solution-oriented approaches to complex legal-business-technical issues
Negotiating complex technology and service agreements, including confidentiality and license agreements
Developing legal efficiencies to enhance contract processes and operations while collaborating closely with the Global AI Legal Team
Required qualifications
JD or LLM and admission to practice
12+ years of counseling, drafting, and negotiation experience in a technology-focused environment
Experience with AI technology, products, and services
Strong critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
