- No previous connector or manufacturing experience required.
- Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with peers, superiors.
- Product/Process knowledge.
- Ability to fluctuate schedule as deemed necessary by management or as the work load requires.
- Strong work ethics including, but not limited to, attendance and punctuality.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- TECHNICAL and/or MANAGERIAL JOB COMPETENCIES (Specific Job Proficiencies and Skills)
- Ability to understand simple drawings, CAPIs and work instructions(as needed)
- Basic PC experience
- Math skills are a plus.
- Working with various inspection equipment: calipers, drop indicators, force gages, DWV-IR tester, etc.
- Ability for personnel performing acceptance testing of product to meet Near and Color Vision RequirementsESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned.)Continuous flow of the quality test cell activities.
- Ensure the quality standards are met per PEI-Genesis requirements.
- Ensure that customer requirements have been met through validation and testing of the product specific requirements, as well as confirmation of correct and adequate components.
- Awareness and basic understanding of BOM and Pick Suggestion "special" customer requirements.
- Complete all quality department documentation and work instructions per the Quality Management System requirements.
