About the role
- Operate: Dump trucks Water trucks Other commercial vehicles
- Haul materials: Dirt, aggregate, asphalt, construction debris
- Load and unload materials safely
- Follow haul routes and production schedules
- Assist with loading operations alongside field crews
- Operate water trucks for: Dust control Compaction support
- Support general jobsite tasks when not driving
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Perform daily: Pre-trip inspections Post-trip inspections
- Report: Mechanical issues Incidents Safety concerns
- Maintain clean and safe equipment
- Communicate with foremen and dispatch
- Stay aware of jobsite conditions and traffic
- Support overall crew productivity
- Valid CDL (Class A or B)
- Clean driving record
- Experience operating dump/water trucks or similar
- Strong awareness of jobsite safety
- Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments
