About the role
- Coordinate with fabricators/suppliers to confirm production schedules, lead time and delivery commitments for fabricated items.
- Work closely with the internal production team to understand required dates, priorities, and schedule changes.
- Track all fabricated items from purchase/order release through completion and delivery.
- Communicate schedule risks, delays, and recovery plans to production, planning, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and share status reports on fabrication progress, open orders, and delivery lead time.
- Review quotations to ensure alignment with engineering drawing and specifications.
- Create and issue accurate purchase orders and reflect contractual pricing, quantities, and lead time expectation. Ensure POs reflect correct pricing, quantities, lead time and terms.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within each
- Performs special projects/duties as assigned by procurement manager.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain, ideally in a Manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- High level of accountability and integrity
- At least 3 days/week work in officeEEO/AA/F/M/Vet/Disabled
