About the role

General Labor Gulfport, MS 39507 Savard is seeking reliable and hardworking Hurricane Cleanup Crew Members to assist with storm recovery and cleanup efforts throughout Gulfport and surrounding areas. Crew members will assist with removing storm debris, cleaning and preparing affected properties, moving materials, and performing general labor duties. This is a physically demanding position that requires individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Job Duties: Remove hurricane and storm-related debris from job sites. Assist with cleanup of damaged homes, businesses, and other properties. Load, unload, carry, and move debris, materials, and equipment. Assist with removing damaged materials as directed. Perform general job-site preparation and cleanup. Sort, stack, and organize materials and debris. Assist skilled workers and supervisors as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions. Perform additional general labor duties as assigned.
Key Requirements: Previous construction, cleanup, warehouse, landscaping, or general labor experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and debris. Ability to work outdoors in hot, humid, wet, and changing weather conditions. Must have reliable transportation to assigned job sites. Must be dependable and willing to work as part of a team. Must follow all safety requirements and job-site policies. Ability to work overtime, weekends, or extended hours may be required based on storm-recovery needs.
Shifts: Monday-Sunday Times will Vary Duration: Temp-Hire
