Manager, Business DevelopmentWe are seeking a Manager, Business Development to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations.About the RoleThe Manager, Business Development in Health Care Services plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of the organization by identifying new market opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry landscape to develop and implement effective business strategies that align with organizational goals. The manager will lead initiatives to enhance client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and clinical services. They will also analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to proactively adapt business plans and maintain a competitive edge. Ultimately, this role is responsible for delivering measurable revenue growth and strengthening the organization's presence within the healthcare services sector.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the healthcare services industry.Proven track record of successfully developing and closing business deals and partnerships.Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics, regulations, and reimbursement processes.Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Healthcare Administration.Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology solutions.Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and accreditation requirements.Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.Professional certifications related to healthcare management or business development.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities in the healthcare services market to drive revenue growth.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including providers, payers, and community partners.Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with organizational goals.Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored service offerings that meet client and regulatory needs.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide strategy and identify emerging trends.
