About the role

TreCom Systems Group will be hiring Business Analysts to support technology initiatives and business process improvement projects. These will be full-time positions with TreCom and roles will be hybrid (onsite work in Richmond or Mechanicsville, VA).The ideal candidates will have strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, system implementation, testing/UAT, and stakeholder communication. Experience supporting government or public-sector technology projects is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.5+ years of professional Business Analyst experience in IT or software development environments. Strong experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation. Experience developing process flows, requirements documentation, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Experience supporting software implementation or system modernization projects. Experience with system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC environments. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on Commonwealth of Virginia or other public-sector projects. Experience with state government systems, regulatory environments, or government programs. Experience with enterprise application implementations and system conversions. Experience with data analysis, data mapping, integrations, or data migration. Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools. Experience supporting vendor-managed implementations. Experience with process improvement and business process modeling. CBAP or other relevant certification is a plus.
