Job Description: Machine Operator – Aerospace Manufacturing 2nd Shift
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

This company has great benefits! We are currently hiring Machine Operators for an established aerospace manufacturing company that produces oil pumps and precision components used in aircraft. We have a 1st and 2nd shift position open. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work and have a strong work ethic. Mechanical or machine shop experience is a plus, but we are willing to consider candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Job Duties:
Operate various machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.
Operate equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, drills, boring and polishing machines, and presses.
Follow detailed work instructions and production specifications.
Read and understand blueprints, drawings, measurements, and engineering details.
Perform basic inspection of finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
Use hand tools, measuring tools, and other production equipment.
Load and unload materials and parts from machines.
Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and dollies as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous machine operation, manufacturing, mechanical, or machine shop experience preferred. Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools preferred. CNC experience is a plus, but not required. Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machinery and hand tools. Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
