VDC Project Manager

Job DescriptionMcCord Recruiting Solutions is seeking an experienced VDC Project Manager to lead VDC/BIM coordination and project modeling activities from preconstruction through completion. This role works closely with project teams, designers, engineers, and trade partners to ensure effective coordination, constructability, quality, and timely delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead VDC/BIM activities and coordinate team priorities throughout the project lifecycleReview architectural, structural, MEPF, and trade models to identify potential conflicts and constructability concernsFacilitate coordination meetings and drive timely resolution of clashes and design issuesDevelop and maintain coordination logs, track model updates, and help remove project constraintsSupport RFIs and other project documentation related to BIM, detailing, and constructabilityReview drawings, specifications, models, and BIM requirements to ensure quality and completenessManage project files, backgrounds, and model information across shared platformsCoordinate with internal teams and outside trade partners to keep deliverables aligned with project requirementsHelp improve VDC processes, workflows, and downstream detailing efficiencyUse BIM software to review, modify, and evaluate 2D/3D models as neededQualifications5+ years of VDC, BIM, or project coordination experience preferredStrong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related BIM toolsUnderstanding of building systems and construction coordination, including MEPF and structural disciplinesAbility to interpret construction documents, specifications, RFIs, and project schedulesStrong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred\nCompany DescriptionPlacing construction and engineering professionals nationwide for more than 30 years!Company DescriptionPlacing construction and engineering professionals nationwide for more than 30 years!
