Role Description:
The Sales Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Charleston County, SC, with responsibility for Cannon Green and Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards wedding and private events sales teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the sales team, setting sales targets, and implementing sales strategies that support event bookings, and overall revenue goals. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and event planners, as well as identifying new business opportunities in local and regional markets. The Sales Director will collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and event teams to align sales initiatives with brand standards and guest experience objectives. Regular activities include monitoring sales performance, preparing forecasts and reports, coaching team members, and representing the company at industry events and networking functions.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated strength in Sales and Business Development, with a track record of achieving revenue and growth targets. Experience in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and using CRM tools. Customer Service expertise, with the ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships and manage key accounts. Team Management skills, including leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team. Background in hospitality, events, or related industries is strongly preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities, with comfort using data to inform decisions. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Ability to work on-site in Charleston County, SC, and Pippin Hill Farm in Virginia.
