Role Description: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Oak Forest, IL. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning. This role will manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to executive leadership. The CFO will collaborate with senior management on strategic decision-making, capital investments, and risk management, while providing financial guidance to operational teams. Additional responsibilities include leading the finance department, optimizing financial systems and processes, supporting audits, and maintaining strong relationships with banks, auditors, and key external partners.
Qualifications: Strong finance and financial planning skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management. Proficiency in preparing and interpreting financial statements, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Expertise in financial reporting, including developing dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level financial presentations. Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear, actionable insights. Proven leadership experience managing finance teams in a mid- to large-scale organization, preferably in construction or related industries. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced credential is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders. Experience with ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and process improvement initiatives.
