Job Description: The Lawn and Snow Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the appearance and safety of diverse residential and commercial properties. This position involves operating a variety of lawn and snow equipment across multiple sites daily, performing seasonal maintenance tasks, and responding to snow events as needed. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and committed to providing reliable outdoor services during standard daytime hours with on-call duties for snow events.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, and trimming
  • Manage snow removal operations using plows, shovels, and other snow equipment
  • Conduct spring and fall cleanups to prepare properties for seasonal changes
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering
  • Apply pesticides safely for lawn and garden care (training will be provided if position requires it)
  • Operate a broad range of equipment including mowers, skid steer, plow and salt trucks and hand tools
  • Travel daily to service multiple residential and commercial sites of various sizes
  • Follow safety procedures and safety guidelines during all tasks
Required Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record- must be insurable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Willingness to train and learn new skills
  • Experience operating landscaping and snow removal equipment a plus, but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of landscaping techniques and lawn care practices
  • Skill in snow plowing and snow event preparedness
  • Strong time management and physical stamina
  • Adherence to safety procedures
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in lawn mowing and general property maintenance
