Pizza Maker Opportunity Maciano's Pizza & Pastaria on Perryville in Loves Park is hiring for a responsible and reliable pizza maker to join our team. As part of our team, your hands-on food production responsibilities will include: Prepare and bake pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards Monitor food quality and ensure pizzas are made accurately and cooked to perfection Assist with kitchen prep work: preparing sauces, toppings, fresh dough and other ingredients, chopping vegetables, etc. Maintain speed, accuracy, and composure during high-volume service Maintaining a clean and organized work station Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction Handle customer inquiries and special requests in a professional manner Requirements: – Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role preferred – Knowledge of pizza making techniques and ingredients is a plus – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail – Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team – Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner – Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes – Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials – Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations in the food industry *This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
