Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation: Safely operate vacuum trucks, hydro-excavation machinery, and high-pressure water pumps to remove debris from catch basins, storm sewers, manholes, and industrial facilities. Transportation & Disposal: Drive commercial vehicles to and from job sites; transport and dispose of collected materials in accordance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Site Preparation: Set up work zones, establish traffic controls, and adhere to strict safety perimeters around active utilities and construction zones. Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections. Maintain fluid levels, grease pumps, and clean equipment to ensure optimal mechanical performance. Compliance & Documentation: Complete daily work logs, DOT inspection sheets, and incident reports accurately. Navigate digital work orders via tablet or smartphone.
Qualifications & Requirements:
License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A or B, with Tanker endorsements. Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Experience:
Minimum 1years of experience driving large commercial vehicles and operating vacuum or hydro-vac equipment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs regularly, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Outdoor Conditions: Working in outdoor environments (construction sites).\nCompany
