About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of a growing organization with an international presence. This role will work closely with the Controller and senior leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes across domestic and international entities.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and preparation of financial statements. Oversee reconciliations, general ledger activity, AP/AR, cash management, and financial reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting. Help maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, controls, and financial systems. Coordinate with international teams on accounting activities, intercompany transactions, and reporting requirements. Support external audits, tax compliance, and other regulatory requirements. Assist with banking relationships, cash flow reporting, and special financial projects. Lead, mentor, and support accounting staff while partnering with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably including international or multi-entity operations. CPA preferred, but not required. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
