Help identify solutions and respond professionally to the needs of children, parents, and staff. Accepts all work assignments in the event regularly scheduled personnel are not available. Assists in daily supervision of staff; keeps director apprised with staff concerns and situations needing attention. Develops and actively maintains positive communication with parents. Ordering paper, office, and classroom supplies. Organizing permission slips for field trips. Reviewing all children's incident reports for accuracy. Answering phones while offering the most up-to-date information. Recognizes parent concerns and reports them to the director. Assists with enrollment inquiries, follow-up, and facility tours in order to increase enrollment. Transport children on the school bus. Step in as a substitute teacher or provide classroom support when necessary. Qualifications Passion for nurturing and educating young children No prior experience required; training will be provided Candidate must have at least 2 years' experience working in a child care center.
