JOB TITLE: Facilities & Utilities ManagerJOB TYPE: Direct-HireLOCATION: Yonkers, NY – OnsiteSTART DATE: October/November 2026SHIFT: Monday–Friday, 1st ShiftWe are seeking an experienced Facilities & Utilities Manager to lead critical facility infrastructure, utility operations, and long-term asset performance within a manufacturing environment. This role will combine technical leadership, contractor oversight, capital planning, and operational strategy to ensure facility systems remain reliable, compliant, safe, and cost-effective.
Responsibilities: Lead the operation and long-term performance of critical facility and utility systems, including HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, electrical distribution, and building controls. Direct facilities personnel and establish priorities for maintenance, reliability, safety, compliance, and infrastructure improvement. Develop strategies to improve aging assets, system reliability, preventive maintenance, capacity, and overall facility performance. Manage external contractors and service providers, including vendor selection, performance expectations, service quality, and accountability. Oversee significant capital projects involving facility infrastructure, utility systems, equipment replacement, and modernization. Develop and manage operating and capital budgets while prioritizing investments based on reliability, risk, compliance, and business needs. Maintain facility operations in accordance with applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Oversee required facility documentation, inspections, certifications, permits, and interactions with applicable outside agencies. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Procurement, and other internal groups to support operational needs and facility improvements.
Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities, utilities, engineering, maintenance, or asset management within a manufacturing environment.5+ years of experience leading technical teams, supervisors, or facility personnel. Demonstrated experience overseeing critical building and utility infrastructure such as HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, electrical distribution, and building control systems. Significant experience managing third-party contractors, service providers, and vendors responsible for technical facility work. Experience leading capital projects valued at $1 million or more and managing substantial facility or infrastructure budgets. Strong working knowledge of regulated facility operations, safety requirements, compliance expectations, and technical documentation. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or extensive directly relevant facilities and utilities experience. EOE STATEMENT:We are an equal opportunity employer.
