Role Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is a Part-time, on-site position based in Lawton, OK. The LPN will provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care in accordance with established policies and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with patient assessments, supporting registered nurses and physicians, maintaining accurate medical records, and communicating changes in patient status to the care team. The LPN will promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment, educate patients and families on care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Oklahoma. Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate direct patient care, including medication administration and basic clinical procedures. Strong documentation and charting skills, with attention to accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams. Ability to follow established protocols, prioritize tasks, and respond calmly and efficiently in urgent or changing situations. Basic computer proficiency and ability to use electronic health record (EHR) systems. Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
