About the role
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Reporting to the Senior Manager of Warehouse Inventory and Logistics for Transmission/Distribution/Generation, the Manager of Warehouse Operations is accountable for establishing the strategic priorities in executing demand plans, fulfillment, and logistics services across a large territory.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety/Human Performance : Serves as the safety and compliance leader across the service territory.
Demand Execution & Fulfillment : Responsible for setting clear goals, standardizing processes, and providing strategic oversight to ensure the execution of demand plans for major projects.
Inventory & Warehouse Management : Oversight and optimization of materials management and logistics operations within the territory.
Logistics Management : Optimizes inbound and outbound logistics through effective management of transportation services.
Budget and Cost Prudency : Responsible for efficient management of departmental budget and cost structure.
Customer Service : Proactively and routinely engages with stakeholders to collaborate on demand forecasting.
Incident Response : During storm restoration events, provides expertise which may require travel outside normal assigned region.
Partnership : Collaborates closely with cross-functional executive teams.
People Leadership : Collaborates with cross-functional partners to align Supply Chain Talent Management Strategy.
Culture : Maintains highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
