About the role
Leading a technical support and field services team, the full-time Remote Traffic System Tech Support Engineer will manage support activities, provide technical consultation, and develop customer support processes to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage a technical support team, ensuring performance oversight and coaching
Plan and coordinate support activities while serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues
Create and maintain technical documentation and deliver training on traffic management systems
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Transportation Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in technical support or field services, with 5+ years in a leadership role
Hands-on experience with traffic management systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of traffic controller systems and experience in customer-facing environments
Familiarity with relational databases and traffic cabinet configurations
