Student - Office Assistant, Leadership Institute & Society of Innovators City: Westville Job Description: Overview of Student - Office AssistantThe Student Office Assistant, Leadership Institute & Society of Innovators at PNW will be a vital member of our team. This person will help us with planning and implementation of our programs and camps. This assistant will manage numerous administrative tasks and assist with program details. The ideal candidate will have experience in Microsoft Office software (including Word and Excel), and possess effective communication skills, excellent organization skills, and a willingness to learn. Duties and Responsibilities of Student - Office AssistantOrganize and maintain filesOrganize, store, and maintain program suppliesCreate forms, name badges, gift bags, and handout materials for program participantsRespond to general calls and emails from potential customersAssist with social media and marketing as needed Education and RequirementMust be a PNW student with work study grant fundingMust be able to commit to at least 10 hours per weekMay need to be on your feet during programs and campsMay require some light lifting (up to 25 pounds) ExperienceSelf-starter who is highly organized and able to work as a team and independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProfessionalism, organizational skillsAbility to communicate wellBasic data entry and computing skillsProject management skills FLSA StatusNon-Exempt
