Position Overview:
We’re looking for a backend engineer to support FleetSpace, a cloud-based aviation maintenance platform built with Spring Boot and MongoDB. This role involves developing modular APIs, mapping aviation data, and supporting scalable, containerized deployments in Azure.
Desired Qualifications:
Spring Boot for API routing and service logic.
MongoDB (document-based) for storing aviation maintenance data.
DTO mapping using MapStruct or equivalent.
Modular code design for scalable and repurposable features
REST API development with Swagger documentation.
Docker for containerization and environment consistency.
Experience working in an Azure-hosted backend environment.
Familiarity with asynchronous data processing patterns.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant standards, including meeting productivity standards.
Additional Information:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) and 10+ years of backend experience.
Must be capable of independently owning, building, and refining modular backend components with minimal direction.
