WSi Healthcare Personnel is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for a correctional healthcare opportunity in Carrizozo, New Mexico. We are currently seeking full-time, part-time, and PRN LPNs, giving you the flexibility to find an option that works with your schedule. Pay is $35–$40/hour DOE, with both day and night opportunities available. Full-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision benefits, and employees may also elect to participate in WSi's 401(k). This is a hands-on nursing position for an LPN who enjoys variety and wants to use more of their clinical skill set. Your shift may include medication passes, intakes and health assessments, responding to patient concerns, communicating with a medical provider, monitoring ongoing healthcare needs, and documenting care. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities Medical, dental, and vision benefits available to full-time employees 401(k) participation available Weekday and weekend availability Day shift: 6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Night shift: 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Mileage reimbursement for qualifying travel of 50+ miles As an LPN in this setting, your responsibilities may include: Administering medications and completing medication passes Assisting with intake screenings and health assessments Obtaining vital signs and gathering patient health information Responding to medical concerns and emergencies Communicating patient needs and changes in condition to the appropriate medical provider Monitoring ongoing and chronic healthcare needs Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including paper MARs Collaborating with healthcare and facility staff regarding patient needs New to correctional Healthcare?  You don't need to come from a correctional background to be interested in this opportunity.
