About the role

Senior Wealth Data Architect
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 6-month contract to start, with potential for extension
Overview: Swoon is hiring a Senior Wealth Data Architect for our banking client. This fully remote opportunity combines data and solution architecture to support Wealth Management modernization, digital experiences, and enterprise data initiatives. You’ll lead the design of scalable, secure, and governed data solutions connecting wealth platforms, banking systems, digital channels, and third-party providers.
What You’ll Do: Define enterprise wealth data architecture, target-state designs, and implementation roadmaps across strategic initiatives. Design data models supporting client profiles, household relationships, investment accounts, holdings, transactions, and portfolio performance. Develop integration solutions using APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, streaming, and batch processes. Establish data standards, metadata, lineage, and governance practices that support security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Partner with business leaders, product teams, technology teams, and external vendors to evaluate solutions and guide architecture decisions. Enable trusted, reusable data services for digital experiences, analytics, and AI initiatives.
What You’ll Bring: A strong background in enterprise data and solution architecture. Experience with cloud-native architecture, preferably AWS, data modeling, API integration, microservices, and event-driven design will help you succeed. Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or Digital Banking experience is highly valued, particularly with Client 360, household data, investment platforms, or banking-to-wealth integrations. Familiarity with Snowflake, Kafka, AWS data services, and data governance tools is a plus. If interested in more details, please apply!

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
