Role Description: The Dental Hygienist is a full-time, on-site role based in Delray Beach, FL. This team member will provide preventive dental care, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and patient education on oral hygiene and disease prevention. Daily responsibilities include performing thorough cleanings, assessing periodontal health, taking and reviewing radiographs, and assisting in the development of individualized treatment plans in collaboration with dentists and specialists. The Dental Hygienist will document clinical findings accurately, maintain strict infection control protocols, and contribute to a welcoming, patient-focused environment. This role also participates in ongoing training to stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques, technology, and best practices.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong skills in Dentistry and Dental Care, including comprehensive patient assessment and collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team. Candidates should possess skills in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, with the ability to perform thorough cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and deliver clear oral health education. Candidates should possess skills related to Periodontal Disease, including recognition of clinical signs, appropriate documentation, and support in treatment planning. Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Florida, with current CPR/BLS certification. Experience in a high-volume or multi-specialty dental practice and familiarity with digital radiography and electronic health records. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient comfort, safety, and culturally sensitive care. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
