Our client, a growing investment firm focused on solutions that improve environmental and human health, is seeking an Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to support its Founder & CEO.This is an opportunity to join a lean, international team at an early stage. The ideal candidate will bring structure to a fast-moving environment, anticipate needs, and take ownership of business and personal priorities that allow the Founder to focus on fundraising, investor relationships, and building the firm. The role combines executive and personal support with investor coordination, relationship management, social media, and operational projects. Working closely with the EVP of Operations, this individual will take on broader strategic responsibilities and have room to grow as the firm scales.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the Founder & CEO’s calendar, meetings, travel, and day-to-day priorities across multiple time zones Anticipate scheduling conflicts, prepare for meetings, and ensure timely follow-through on commitments Provide personal support, including appointments, reservations, travel, and other day-to-day logistics as needed Coordinate investor meetings and track relationships, outreach, and next steps in the firm’s CRMHelp maintain a year-round calendar of key meetings, events, fundraising priorities, and deadlines Support correspondence and coordination with investors, founders, corporate partners, and other external contacts Assist with planning and logistics as the firm establishes its New York presence Take ownership of administrative processes and special projects, creating practical systems where needed Partner closely with the EVP of Operations and the broader team on Chief of Staff-level coordination and execution Assist with social media strategy and execution Identify problems early, propose solutions, and serve as a dependable extension of leadershipREQUIREMENTS:Experience supporting a Founder, CEO, senior executive, or small leadership team across business and personal priorities Exceptional organization, judgment, discretion, and follow-through Strong written communication skills and confidence engaging with senior external stakeholders Comfort managing competing priorities across international time zonesA proactive, resourceful approach and the ability to build structure in an evolving environment Experience with calendars, CRM systems, and modern productivity tools Comfort assisting with social media; relevant experience is a plus Interest in investing, entrepreneurship, sustainability, or mission-driven businesses is a plus Flexibility to provide support outside standard business hours as needed Ability to travel approximately once per quarterSALARY:$80-115K. The benefits package is currently being evaluated as the firm builds out the role.
HOURS: This role requires 3–5 days per week in person in New York City, depending on the Founder & CEO’s schedule. Three days is the baseline, with busier weeks involving events or investor meetings potentially requiring all five days. Flexibility across time zones, availability outside standard business hours, and occasional weekend work are required.
