Position Purpose: Responsible for moving material to maintain process flowHourly or Salary Range: $18.25 - $21.35 (2nd shift $19.15 - $22.25)
Essential Functions: Maintain Environmental, Health and Safety standards in the workplaceMoves material in and out of the departmentPlaces material at stationsStacks material neatly in inventoryLoads steel into Un-coilersEmpties scrap hoppersRemoves wrapped skids from the line and puts away into inventoryReplaces shrink wrap rolls on wrapperPlaces labels on wrapped skidsOther job duties may be assignedEducation and Training: High School Diploma or GEDForklift operation experience helpfulMinimum Qualifications: Ability to read and writeGood communication skillsMust be able to work independently and also work well with othersPhysical Demands: Must be able to sit continuously for 8-12 hoursMust be able to continuously move on and off the forkliftSpecific vision abilities are required including close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perceptionMust be able to lift 20 pounds repetitivelyAbility to lift 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to twist, bend and lift repetitivelyGood hand/eye coordination and good motor skillsAbility to work outdoors for an extended period in extreme weather conditionsDemonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulationsEnvironmental Conditions: Ear and Eye protection always required in all production areasExposure to noisy work environmentExposure to hot and humid conditionsExposure to extreme weather conditionsExposure to coolants, oils, grease and waterSteel toe boots with metatarsal guards always requiredWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
