Role Description:
The Womenswear Creative Lead will play a key role in shaping our womenswear brands by guiding the development and execution of each seasonal collection. This position requires the creative vision and operational excellence to build brand-right apparel successfully in a competitive marketplace. A successful candidate will possess a coach/player mentality, able to delegate but also contribute hands-on work toward team goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing and mentoring a creative team, bringing to life innovative and trend-right collections across multiple brands, improving design workflow, and ensuring design standards across all categories (wovens, knitwear, bottoms, activewear, and outerwear).This role manages the womenswear design team, reports to the Design Director and engages regularly with senior management by leading design presentations. International travel required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in Apparel Design Experience leading and inspiring a high-functioning team Ability to stay up to date with the marketplace and translate trends into commercially successful product for high volume retailers Excellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to drive long-term/complex projects Bachelor's degree in fashion design Experience in the athleisure market is a plus
