About the role

HRIS & HR Operations Specialist Washington, DC6-Month Contract Potential Temp-to-Perm Green Key Resources is working with a growing organization to identify an HR professional who can provide hands-on HR support while helping implement a new HRIS platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, evolving environment and has experience supporting HR operations in a startup or growing organization. The initial assignment is expected to be approximately six months, with potential for the role to convert to a permanent position.
What You’ll Do: Support the implementation and rollout of a new HRIS, with a focus on Rippling Serve as a resource for employees, responding to day-to-day HR questions and requests Provide general HR administrative and operational support Help organize and improve HR processes as the organization continues to scale Create and document SOPs, procedures, and HR process guides Assist with maintaining accurate employee and HRIS records Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure HR processes are clear, consistent, and efficient Help identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and improve the employee experience Take on additional HR projects and administrative responsibilities as needed
What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a generalist capacity Hands-on experience with Rippling is required Experience supporting an HRIS implementation or rollout Previous experience working in a startup or rapidly growing organization Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to handle employee questions with professionalism and discretion Comfortable creating SOPs and building processes from the ground up Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Adaptable, hands-on approach with a willingness to jump in where needed
