About the role
Taft Brown Associates has partnered with a respectable behavioral healthcare organization to identify an exceptional Hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) This is a great opportunity for a strategic and hands-on financial executive to join the executive leadership team of a modern behavioral health hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality psychiatric care. The CFO will partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and long-term organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic financial leadership for the hospital.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial reporting.
Oversee accounting, revenue cycle, cash management, internal controls, and compliance.
Partner with executive and operational leaders to improve financial performance and identify growth opportunities.
Develop financial strategies that support organizational goals and sustainable growth.
Analyze key performance indicators and provide actionable financial insights.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous CFO or senior finance leadership experience in an acute care hospital or behavioral health setting strongly preferred.
Behavioral health experience highly desired.
Strong knowledge of hospital finance, reimbursement, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Demonstrated success partnering with operations to improve financial and operational performance.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; MBA, MHA, or CPA preferred.
