Mechanical Inspector Location: Chesapeake, VA Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 AM- 2:30 PM or Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 4 PM (Overtime Expected)
Type: Direct Hire About the company: Our client is one of the largest independently owned motor and pump shops in the U.S. that focuses on rebuilding and remanufacturing rotating electrical and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for independent peer inspections. - Verify as-found component drawings for manufacturing. - Create minor sketch drawings of components, such as bushings, sleeves, and shaft keys. - Accurately complete required paperwork. - Perform various tasks for the machine shop when not carrying out inspections.
