What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or office support experience Strong attention to detail and comfort handling confidential information with discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn HR systems such as Odoo and ADPClear, professional written and verbal communication skillsA collaborative, service-minded approach — you enjoy helping people and solving problems Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Reliable, in-person presence at our Merritt Island headquarters
Nice to Have:
Exposure to manufacturing, construction, or architectural industries Familiarity with HRIS platforms or applicant tracking systems Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English Building Blocks is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Note to Recruitment Agencies: We love your enthusiasm, but we prefer to connect with our candidates directly. Any resumes submitted without a signed agreement in place will become the property of Building Blocks and no fees will be paid.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
