About the role
- Develop and run liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, bioconjugates, and biomarkers
- Apply mass spectrometry fragmentation techniques, including collision-induced dissociation (CID) and electron-based dissociation (ExD), to characterize conjugated payloads
- Use capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry (CE-MS) and imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (iCIEF) to characterize protein charge variants
- Build reference databases and spectral libraries, and process and interpret mass spectrometry data to validate molecular structures
- Run high-throughput proteomics workflows using data-independent acquisition (DIA) methods and perform database searching with false discovery rate (FDR) control
- Develop and evaluate platform immunoassays, including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and western blot methods, to support preclinical and clinical bioanalytical studies
- Support the development and purification of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) using multiple conjugation chemistries, chromatography, and peptide mapping techniques, and compare platform performance across different bioconjugate modalities
- Document experimental procedures and results, and present findings to the broader analytical sciences team
- Relevant majors: Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy
- Let's find out if we're a fit:
- Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree (and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position)
- Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week from January-August, May/June-December, or August-December
- Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community preferred
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
