Job ProfileThe bank is hiring aSenior Lender (SVP)who willinteract with Private Client Groups and their prospects and clients in the development of complex personal and business loans.
Education LevelBachelor’s Degreein business or related field (highly preferred)
Work ExperienceMinimum 8 years of commercial lendingat a leading money center bank
Formal Credit Training (required)
Prior management experience
Duties/ResponsibilitiesEnsures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy and comply with approval.
Interview applicants to request specified information for loan applications.
Maintains database and monitors the performance of loans.
Notifies the Portfolio Management Team Leader – SVP immediately of any credit quality issues within the portfolio.
Recommends requests that exceed credit quality to Portfolio Management Team Leader – SVP.
Reviews daily referrals for overdrafts and unavailable funds from financial centers and private client groups.
Review financial reports submitted by clients to monitor compliance.
Seeks opportunities outside the bank to develop prospects for loans.
Works closely with outside counsel for documentation on loan transactions.
Skills/Knowledge/AbilitiesKnowledge of Analyzing financial statements, cash flow analysis, and financial ratios
Thorough knowledge of lending to individuals/businesses
