CONTENT TUTORPHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANTGeneral Description: The Content Tutor: Physical Therapy Assistant cooperatively assist students with various healthcare subjects including but not limited to math, sciences, and writing (as feasible) through instruction and implementing study skills. Duties and
Tasks: Provide tutoring assistance to students as needed Assist ASC Manager in forming specialized study groups as need arises Assign software programs to assist students in various academic programs Distribute information leading to academic improvement Consult with faculty regarding centers resources Research current list of useful Internet resources for student and faculty use Work closely with Tutoring Services Coordinator, academic discipline faculty and staff, and Student Services faculty and staff to provide optimal services to students Provide tutoring services orientation for any willing faculty member Required KSAs: Customer service skills Communication and written skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Analyzing skills Ability to assist undergraduate learners with course content Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse student population.
