Senior Communications Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite
Duration: 12-month contract

We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist with 7+ years of experience developing and executing strategic communications programs. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, storyteller, and strategic communicator who can translate complex business, technology, and digital transformation initiatives into clear, engaging communications for diverse audiences. This person should be comfortable supporting executive and leadership communications, managing multiple communication channels and campaigns, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and developing new ways to increase audience engagement. Experience with enterprise software, ERP/CRM, SaaS, digital transformation, or dealer/distributor/channel networks is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain an integrated communications strategy supporting digital transformation and business initiatives.
  • Create communication roadmaps, content calendars, audience engagement plans, and targeted communication campaigns.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies for different stakeholder groups.
  • Create executive-quality communications, including:
  • Leadership updates
  • NewslettersAnnouncement campaigns
  • Success stories and case studies
  • Product and release communications
  • Change management communications
  • Webinar and event materials
  • Translate complex technology, ERP, CRM, and digital transformation concepts into clear, business-focused messaging.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, branding, tone, and positioning across communication channels.
  • Develop communication toolkits and reusable content for regional teams and leadership.
  • Manage communication channels such as SharePoint, websites, email campaigns, newsletters, webinars, and digital resource centers.
  • Establish communication governance, publishing standards, and communication schedules.
  • Coordinate communications for conferences, meetings, webinars, product launches, leadership forums, and other events.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop content that addresses audience priorities and business needs.
  • Support executive presenters with presentations, messaging, speaking points, and event communications.
  • Build relationships with business leaders, product teams, deployment teams, marketing, technology partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communications and ensure alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Establish communication KPIs and measure engagement through metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, webinar participation, content consumption, and audience engagement.
  • Analyze communication performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare executive-ready reporting and insights.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.7+ years of experience developing and executing strategic communications programs. Demonstrated experience supporting executive and leadership communications. Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation-development skills. Experience managing multiple communication channels and large-scale communication campaigns. Experience coordinating communications across global and diverse stakeholder groups. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder-management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, enterprise software, ERP, SaaS, or technology initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other enterprise business systems.
  • Experience supporting large-scale change management programs.
  • Experience working with dealer, distributor, channel partner, or franchise networks.
  • Experience with SharePoint, content management platforms, marketing automation tools, and webinar technologies.
  • Knowledge of communications analytics and campaign performance measurement.
  • Experience supporting global audiences across multiple regions and cultures.
